When: 31 May at 19:00 in UTC+02
Where: Varesezaal, koninklijk Conservatorium, den haag

This will happen at the Varesezaal from 7pm. Please accept apologies for late promotion, but please try to make this one if you can! I have a musicologist coming to speak this time, about his most recent research, that aligns with gender and sexual diversity.

Very chuffed to present:

Erwin Roebroeks –

Erwin Roebroeks is a self-employed writer, researcher, and curator in music. He was a guest curator at the 2013 Venice Biennalehttp://www.labiennale.org/en/music/archive/57th-festival/docfiles/pressbook.html?back=true. That project resulted in a European research on the future of opera, commissioned by a.o. the Academy of Creative and Performing Arts of Leiden University and Opera Europa. The research results will be presented at the Opera Europa Conference in June http://www.opera-europa.org/en/conferences/amsterdam-conference. Tonight, Roebroeks will highlight some of the results.

There will be a timetable as such:

Erwin Roebroeks 7.15 – 8.15
a short Q & A
break – 8.30 – 8.50
Panel: Erwin Roebroeks, Anne La Berge, Hannah Bosma
Discussions 8.50 –

Anyone wishing to say something within the discussion, please let me know privately (or otherwise) and I will make a list so we can all speak.

Very happy to announce that the Panel members will be:

Erwin Roebroeks,

Anne La Berge – http://annelaberge.com/
who has kindly agreed to come down again from Amsterdam. Her talk at the last event was awesome!

Hannah Bosma – http://www.hannahbosma.nl/
who is a musicologist who has written a number of publications about gender in electronic music.
